Outdoor activities like camping or kayaking or hiking. Examining history first-hand at a real Ghost Town. Visiting an early source of iron with a 150 year old blast furnace. Picnicing at a pristine beach. Or just laying back and enjoying the scenery.

In Newcomb, you will find thousands of acres of unspoiled wild forest, scenic mountain vistas, crystal clear fresh water lakes, abundant wildlife and pure Adirondack air.

The winter season brings a wide variety of outdoor activities, including downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and ice skating. Snowmobiling is popular and miles of groomed trails exist, connecting Newcomb with other Towns in the Adirondacks.
