At the annual Appreciation Dinner sponsored by the Town of Newcomb, Charlotte Demers was 
presented the Sage Memorial Award, in recognition of her many years as chairwomen of the
Town Zoning Board of Appeals.

Foreign Affairs Roundtable

The January 8 Roundtable was entitled "The Comparative Study Approach to International Learning." Newcomb Central School Student Perspectives from Bangladesh, Israel, South Korea, Switzeralnd and Iraq were presented. Our NCS international students helped all attendees understand the cultural, social, political, economic, and religious life of their native lands as they participate in this interview style discussion. Facilitator: Dr. Roy H. Ginsberg, Professor of Government at Skidmore College. Some Pictures from the event follow:
