From Albany: Take the Adirondack Northway (I-87) north to exit 26, Pottersville, then route 9 north 1/4 mile to left on Olmstedville Rd 12 miles to Route 28N. Then right for 18 Miles. Turn right on Santanoni Drive at the Newcomb Overlook to High Peaks Golf Course. Distance about 110 miles (two hours).
From Montreal/Plattsburgh: Take the Adirondack Northway (I-87) South to exit 29, North Hudson. Turn left at the exit and take the Boreas Road 20 miles to Route 28N. Turn right for three miles to the Newcomb Medical Center/overlook. Turn right on Santanoni Drive to the High Peaks Golf Course. Distance from Plattsburgh about 80 miles (90 minutes).
From Utica: Take Route 12 north to Route 28 north. Follow Route 28 north to Blue Mountain Lake, then continue to Long Lake on Route 30/28N. In Long Lake stay on Route 28N to Newcomb. Continue through Newcomb to the Newcomb Overlook/ Santanoni Drive, turn left to the High Peaks Golf Course. Distance about 125 miles (2 hours and 15 minutes).

Just a short drive from the High Peaks Golf Course are comfortable Bed and Breakfast establishments, cottages for rent on a weekly or daily basis, and both a state Campsite on Lake Harris or a private campsite and bar & grill in town.
