TOWN OF NEWCOMB
ADOPTED BUDGET 2009
Total appropriations for General Fund, Highway and Fire Protection totaled $3,894,374 less income and applied
fund balance of $830,285 resulting in a tax levy of
$3,064,089. General Fund and Highway net appropriations
are $6,984 less than 2008 while Fire Protection is
increased by $50,000.
Homestead tax rate for General and Highway for 2009
is projected to be $1.74/thousand which is compared to
$1.77/thousand for 2008.
Non-Homestead tax rate for General and Highway for
2009 is projected to be $9.72/thousand which is compared
to $10.01/thousand for 2008.
