"Pursuant to Section 271 of the Town Law a Planning Board of the Town has been created and is referred to in this local law as the "Planning Board."Said board shall consist of seven (7) members appointed by the Town Board in such manner and for such term as provided by Town Law. The Planning Board shall have all the powers and perform all the duties prescrilbed by statute and by this local law. The Planning Board may, pursuant to Section 272 of the Town Law, establish such rules and regulations as are necessary for the transaction of thier business and as are not inconsistent with the terms and provisions of this local law. Pursuant to Town Law, Sections 274-a, the Planning Board is hereby authorized to conduct site plan review of land uses and development projects specified in this local law."
